We had the day off from school, but the forecast was for stormy weather. We headed out on foot anyway.
Nothing against bright blue autumn skies and crunchy leaves, but I rather love how the wet and gray makes the colors pop.
The new pancake place was our destination. You make your own—right at your table. It was, as expected, a hit with the kids.
We even had ‘cocktails’.
Then to the video store (Netflix has nothing on this place). We brought home something about monsters.
Home again, home again, jiggety-jog. Time to watch our movie and wait for the storm. Have a great weekend, everybody.
