mav scb September 1, 2017 Tomorrow one of my most closest dearest friends gets married. I have known her for 21 of my 41 years. I wanted to dedicate today’s poem by David Whyte to her and to love, both of which sustain me fully and constantly. xo, MAV Read More Share TWITTER FACEBOOK TUMBLR PINTEREST EMAIL
mav scb August 25, 2017 For both MAV and me, the idea of home is fundamental to 3191 Miles Apart. My heart breaks for Houston and the Gulf Coast, where so many have lost or are displaced from their homes. I can’t imagine the feeling of loss and insecurity. Sending strength to those who need it. To help financially: I recommend this list of on-the-ground organizations helping those in Houston and surrounding areas from the Texas Monthly. For what, I am not sure. To that end, I noted something nostalgic and habitual in my September 2015 letter that I will share with you now. xo, MAV Read More Share TWITTER FACEBOOK TUMBLR PINTEREST EMAIL
